UNIT ONE VOCABULARY

Your task that will be due by Friday 9/9 at 1:30 pm will be to as a class create a review guide on the wiki for this vocabulary list. You will do this by each adding 6 entries to the list. For each entry, you will choose from the following options :

(a) define the word completely, including part of speech
(b) list at least three synonyms
(c) list at least three antonyms
(c) use it in an original sentence correctly
(d) select a relevant image to accompany the word AND explain the image's relevance to the word
(e) list any other forms of the word (where applicable) (example: idealism for idealist; zealotry for zealous)

There are 15 words and 6 options for entries per word; this means there are 90 possible entries on this list. As there are 14 of you and you will each complete 6 entries -- we should have at least 84 entries when we are done. Your goal is not only to complete your 6 individual entries but also to - as a class - create a complete list that is readable, polished, and accurate. Work together to accomplish this in an efficient and effective manner.

YOUR QUIZ on these words will be next Friday, 9/16. The more thorough you are in your work above - the more prepared you will be for the quiz. I expect you will be familiar with all of the above for your quiz next week. You will be assessed for this first vocabulary list as follows :
